Is the town repair storyline finished in 1.0?

What did 1.0 actually change?

Four things, all listed in the patch notes as highlights.

The town repair questline can now be completed. The Renown cap rose to 100. A Mistril Town Rank event was added. And Town Rank Quests were added to guide existing progression more clearly.

Two new repair jobs came with it: the Saturday Market Plaza quest and Repair the Bell Tower.

What is the full repair chain?

Twelve quests, in this order, with the Renown each one awards.

The Bell Tower is the last one, which is why finishing it feels like the end of the storyline.

So why does the town still look broken?

Because three things were never part of the questline, and players notice.

The community list is consistent: the museum roof still has holes, the door next to Valen's is still nailed shut, and the lighthouse is still derelict. The wiki describes the lighthouse as a building that cannot currently be entered, with no known purpose, and files it under missing data.

The lighthouse is not mentioned anywhere in the 1.0 patch notes.

Opinion in the community splits on whether these are future content or set dressing. One argument is that these places were not damaged by the earthquake at all, so restoring them was never part of the project. The counter-argument is that Celine sometimes stands outside the lighthouse in summer with dialogue about it, which seems like a deliberate hook.

The studio has not commented either way.

How do you repair the Bell Tower?

It starts with a letter from Zorel, once you have reached Town Rank Diamond Level 90 and finished the Meet the New Vendors quest.

The one material worth flagging here is the Dragon-Forged Core. It is the same deep-mine component the Engagement Ring needs, which quietly ties the town storyline to the romance one: you cannot finish repairing Mistria without going down the mines.

How hard is town rank 100?

Harder than almost anything else in the game, and there is a number for it.

Reaching Level 100 takes 18,006 Renown in total, and Steam's global statistics put that achievement at 1.4% of players. Repairing the Bell Tower sits at 1.3%.

Diamond Level 90 is the rank that actually gates the last repair quest, so that is the milestone to aim at if finishing the town is the goal.

What happens once the Bell Tower is repaired?
